Mr. Halderman

Greetings,

My name is Mr. Tom Halderman, not to be confused with the Mrs. Karen Halderman teaching in 3rd grade – yes, my better half. I have been teaching in the district and Luiseno since 2005 – first as a substitute, then a 1-2 combination class teacher, a 2nd grade teacher, 4th grade teacher, middle school teacher, and now back to being a 4th grade teacher. I have a B.S. in Exploration Geophysics from U.C. Riverside and an M.S. in Geophysics and Space Physics from U.C. Los Angeles. I then received an SB 2042 Professional Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from Chapman University in Orange, California. Along with the multiple subject teaching credential, I was granted supplemental credentials to teach physics through 12th grade and introductory math and science through 9th grade. I was a scientific programmer for 20 years before becoming a teacher. My son and two daughters have all attended Luiseno. I look forward to being a part of my students' future success. Please visit my 4th grade class below for detailed information about how I run my classes. If you have any questions, you can email me at [email protected] or you can leave a message for me at the school (951-253-7480) and I will get back to you within 24 hours of getting your message.

Best Regards,
Mr. Halderman
