Programs During School Hours

 

8th Grade Committee: Advisor, Mr. Honig (12:41pm-1:11pm Wednesdays as needed room 26) Open to students in the 8th grade.  Fundraise and plan end of year 8th grade events.

 

7th Grade Committee: Advisor, Mrs. Sanchez (12:41pm - 1:11pm Wednesdays room 31) Open to students in the 7th grade.  Help to plan 7th grade activities and field trip.

 

6th Grade Committee: Advisor, Mrs. Jones ( 12:41pm - 1:11pm Wednesdays room 28)  Open to students in the 6th grade. Help plan 6th grade activities and field trip.

 

Yearbook Club: Advisor, Mr. Palm (M-F First period, room 32) Open to students in the 6 - 8 grades.  Students decide on the theme of the school yearbook, take pictures at school activities and create yearbook pages.

 

P.L.U.S.: Advisor, Ms. Popov (M-F Third period, room 40) Open to students in the  6-8 grades. Students learn leadership values.

 

ASB: Advisor,  Ms. Day (M-F First period, room 30)  Accepted students learn leadership values, participate in Friday Flag, plan student activities, tutor students and many more activities.

 

Band: Advisor, Mr. Green (M-F First or Second period, Band room) Open to students in the 6-8 grades. Students learn how to read music, play an instrument and participate in community events.

 

5th Grade Band: Teacher, Mr. Green (1:00pm - 1:55pm, Wednesdays, Gym, ) Open to the 5th grade.  Students learn how to read music and play an instrument. 

 

Athletic Club: Advisor, Ms. Gunn (12:41pm - 1:11pm Third Tuesday of each month  ) Open to students in the 6 - 8 grades who want to learn new games and compete with their classmates during lunchtime activities.

 

Cultural Awareness Club: Advisors, Ms. Day and Mr. Martinez (12:41pm - 1:11pm, Thurdsays room 40)  Open to students in the 6 - 8 grades.  Students share and learn about family traditions, history of different cultures and people that stood up for their culture.

 

Science Camp: Advisors, Mr. Adornetto and Ms. Lin (12:41pm - 1:11pm second and fourth Monday of each month room 34).  Open to students grades 7 & 8.  Students plan fundraisers to help pay for Science Camp.  

 

Crochet Club:  Advisor, Mrs. Jones (12:41pm - 1:11pm, M, T, & TH room 28)  Open to students in grades 6 - 8.
