PTA (an acronym for Parent Teacher Association) is the nation’s oldest, largest and highest profile volunteer organization working on behalf of public schools, children and families. PTA volunteers work to improve the education, health, safety and well-being of all children and youth.
Luiseño PTSA (Parent Teacher Student Association) has chosen to include students in our association. Our goal is to promote family involvement at home, in school and within the community as well as to provide and promote educational opportunities so that parents can help their children to be successful students.
We hope to accomplish these objectives through activities such as those listed below.
* Field Trips • Mother-Daughter Event
* School Educational Assemblies • Father-Son Event
* Reading Counts Program • Book Fair
* Supplemental Classroom Materials and Supplies • Science Night
* Middle School Honor Roll Recognition • Family Events
* Grandparents’ Day • Holiday Boutique
* Talent Show • Teacher Meet and Greet
* Red Ribbon Week • Ice Cream Social
* Reflections Program • Food Truck Festival
We need your support! Luiseño membership dues are still only $10.00 per person and multiple memberships are encouraged. Any adults (parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, community members) and students interested in supporting our school can join.
Your membership entitles you to a voice, giving you the right to vote not only at our school unit, but also at district and state as well. We also welcome and encourage middle school students to take a position on the board. This will allow them to gain valuable leadership skills and be the voice for their peers.
Your membership entitles you to many member perks, please click on the links below to view.
Becoming a Luiseño PTSA member is as simple as putting membership dues in envelope and sending it with your child to school.
