Greetings Luiseno Students and Families,

I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new Assistant Principal of Luiseno School. My name is Dominic McGiffert-Sandoval, but I go by Mr. Sandoval and I am entering my 6^th year working in LEUSD after working in various districts over the previous 15 years. I have taught special education, English, Math and Science at both middle school and high school levels, worked as a preschool teacher and taught classes at the college level.

I am very excited to begin my 1st year in administration as the Assistant Principal of Luiseno School, and I look forward to working with you in supporting our students in development of their Respect, Organization, Attitude, and Responsibility.

My primary commitment is to contribute to fostering a safe and inclusive space where each student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally, while feeling valued, supported, and motivated to achieve their full potential. I stand firm on a belief that a positive school culture is foundational to academic growth and personal development.   

I look forward to serving this amazing community and meeting each of you and working together to make this school year outstanding and successful.
