Mr. Sandoval
Greetings Luiseno Students and Families,
I am excited to introduce myself as the new Assistant Principal at Luiseño School. My name is Dominic McGiffert-Sandoval, but I go by Dr. Sandoval. I am entering my seventh year with LEUSD after spending 18 years in various districts. I have taught special education, English, math, and science at both middle and high school levels, worked as a preschool teacher, and taught classes at the college level.
I am very excited to return as the Assistant Principal of Luiseño School, and I look forward to working with you to support our students in developing their Respect, Organization, Attitude, and Responsibility.
My primary commitment is to foster a safe and inclusive space where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally while feeling valued, supported, and motivated to reach their full potential. I firmly believe that a positive school culture is essential for both academic growth and personal development.
I look forward to serving this amazing community, meeting each of you, and working together to make this school year outstanding and successful. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions, ideas, or concerns. Together, we will continue to build and promote a positive school climate while modeling the qualities and characteristics of excellence that define Luiseño School.
Luiseño School has an outstanding team, and I encourage you to become an active member. Please regularly use the provided resources to check your child’s grades through the Infinite Campus parent portal. Also, remember to check our school and teachers’ websites for announcements and opportunities to attend school events.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions, concerns, or ideas that you would like to discuss.
Kindest regards,
Dominic Sandoval Ed.D
Assistant Principal
