Welcome! My name is Christine Alvarez. Every school year brings new adventures and challenges, and I love that I get to help all my students learn and grow.
This is my 13th year teaching. I have taught in Los Angeles, Hesperia, Corona, and Northern Virginia because my husband traveled with his company. I have taught Kindergarten, 2nd grade, 3rd Grade, 4th Grade and 6th Grade. We are finally in our final destination in Temecula and hope to be at Luiseño for many years!! I graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree from San Diego State University in Liberal Studies with a concentration in both English and Special Education.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children. I am a proud mom to Marissa (13) and Briana (9). We love to travel, spend time outside, have dance parties, cook, and much more!! We just got a new German Shepard puppy this summer and we have loved training and spending time with him.
Fun Fact: I went to Le Cordon Bleu in Las Vegas and was a Garde Manger Chef at a fine dining restaurant in the Venetian Hotel!! When I taught in Virginia I lead a summer cooking camp at the school.
